Arambakkam (Tamil: ஆரம்பாக்கம்) is a Village located in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu 13°19′N 80°04′E / 13.31°N 80.06°E / 13.31; 80.06{{#coordinates:13.31|N|80.06|E||||| | |name= }}. It is the First Village of Tamil Nadu when coming from the northern Border of Andhra Pradesh. Fishing is the main occoupation here, within a short distance lies Bheemavarai Palyam where a creek locally called Uppankali juts out from the Pulicat-Arambakkam lagoon. It has a railway station.
