Bamunari is a census town in Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is under Dankuni police station in Srirampore subdivision.[1]

Bamunari is located at 22°40′28″N 88°18′59″E / 22.67451°N 88.31652°E{{#coordinates:22.67451|N|88.31652|E|source:itwiki_region:IN|||| | |name= }} Adjoining to National Highway -2 connecting Kolkatta and Delhi.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Bamunari had a population of 6913. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bamunari has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 55% of the males and 45% of females literate. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
