Borre is a commune in the Nord department in northern France.

History

In this village (route de Sec-Bois) is located the 'Borre British Cemetery' with 370 graves from World War I.

In 1940 one of the first German planes damaged in the North of France fell in Borre. Plenty of people came there to see this event but when the bombs it was loaded with exploded, one hundred civilians and military personnel were killed.
