Cielo (Sky in English) is an Italian television channel owned by Sky plc aimed towards young audiences,[2] and is available on digital terrestrial and satellite television through Sky Italia. Planned to be launched on 1 December 2009,[3] it was delayed to 16 December 2009.[4] While the concept is very similar to Sky's UK counterpart Pick (where it shows reruns of programs already shown on Sky), it also broadcast flash news courtesy of Sky TG24.
It has broadcast coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi for free through the channel.
