DC Showcase: Green Arrow is a 2010 short animated film, directed by Joaquim Dos Santos and written by Greg Weisman, featuring Neal McDonough as Green Arrow, who must protect a young princess at an airport. The film, which was released on September 28, 2010 (2010-09-28) as a bonus feature on the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD, was the third of the DC Showcase series and was included on the compilation DVD DC Showcase Original Shorts Collection in an extended version.[1]

The film starts with Green Arrow waiting outside an airport awaiting the arrival of his girlfriend, Dinah, but is stuck in traffic due to the arrival of Princess Perdita.

Meanwhile, Count Vertigo hires Merlyn to assassinate Perdita, who is Vertigo's niece. Princess Perdita is now the queen of Vlatava due to the king, Perdita's father, and Count Vertigo's older brother, being assassinated by Count Vertigo. While Perdita is at an airport in America, Merlyn attacks her. Green Arrow discovers Count Vertigo's plan and is forced to intervene. Green Arrow dispatches several henchmen of Merlyn while keeping Princess Perdita safe before having to duel Merlyn himself.

After Merlyn is defeated, Count Vertigo steps in and attempts to kill both the hero and Perdita, only to be defeated when Black Canary, who is revealed to be the arriving girlfriend named Dinah, knocks Count Vertigo unconscious with her "Canary Cry". In the aftermath of the battle with Vertigo, Green Arrow proposes marriage to Black Canary with Princess Perdita's eager support. The film ends with Black Canary accepting Green Arrow's proposal and the two share a passionate kiss.
