The Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps was an Open Class (now World Class) competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Hawthorne, New Jersey, the Muchachos performed in Drum Corps International (DCI) competitions as the junior associate of the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps.[1] Founded in 1960 as the Manchester Boys Club Drum & Bugle Corps,[2] they would later change their name to the Muchachos and perform in DCI through 1977.[1] In 1974 the Muchachos won the Drum Corp International East Championship.[3] The corps dissolved in 1986,[2] but in 2007, resumed operations, performing as an all-age exhibition corps in DCI,[4] continuing into the present day.
