Pflugerville Independent School District

Pflugerville Independent School District (PISD) is a public school district based in Pflugerville, Texas (USA). The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock.[1]

In 2011, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[2]

PISD has announced that in the school year of 2014–2015, they will open their twentieth elementary school.
