Rocky Michael Boiman (born January 24, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American football color commentator who formerly played linebacker in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame.
During his stay at Notre Dame, he played all four years and was a starting linebacker his junior and senior years. He was a fan favorite for his intensity and tackling ability. During his senior year, he was a team captain under coach Bob Davie.
Boiman was drafted in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, for whom he played linebacker. He started out as a leader on special teams in his first couple years, setting the Oilers/Titans franchise record in special teams tackles with 28. He earned the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. His role increased as a linebacker during his second and third seasons with the Titans and he earned one AFC Defensive Player of The Week award. His most productive season with the Titans was in 2003, when he played in all 16 games (starting two) with 27 tackles, 18 assists, two interceptions, 1.5 sacks, one touchdown and one safety.
The Indianapolis Colts claimed Boiman off waivers on September 4, 2006. For the Colts, he played in every game that season, totaling 16 tackles, five assists and one interception. In the postseason, he earned a Super Bowl ring as the Colts defeated the Chicago Bears 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI held February 4, 2007.
Boiman re-signed with the Colts with a one-year contract in April 2007. He played in every game in 2007, including seven starts. He totaled 34 tackles, 21 assists and two interceptions.

Boiman now works for Dial Global Sports as a color analyst for college football games and as a sideline reporter for NFL games. He also works as a color analyst for ESPN3 and BBC television and radio.
In the fall of 2011, he was appointed a trustee of Green Township, located on the west side of Cincinnati in Hamilton County, replacing a member who had stepped down to take another position in Hamilton County.
