The Scranton Red Sox were a minor league baseball team based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. They played from 1939 to 1943 and from 1946 to 1951, and they played in the Eastern League.[1] The team was also known as the Scranton Miners from 1944-1945 and again in 1952-1953.
